Magnetic tiles are a great open ended toy that foster creativity, problem solving, and fine motor skills. We ordered one set for the girls a few Christmases ago, but I have been lucky enough to find discounted sets at my TJ Maxx. Don’t feel like you have to splurge on the “name brand” tiles. We have had our “knock off” set for a few years and they are all in great shape. The extension packs can be a fun addition to your collection, also! We have the window set, which makes for AMAZING castle building (according to my girls-ha!)
While I worked with Emmy, Ellis was humming and building behind us. I lost count of how many times she hummed “Twinkle, Twinkle, Little Star”, but when she was done she said “Hey, look at my bike!”
No one said a word about bikes. No one showed her how to make a bike. She just did it.
Emmy built a flower because she wants spring!
